A story about myself
Through a series of unfortunate events, I found myself trapped in my bathroom with no door handle.
For two hours I tried yelling for help and experimenting with different possible handle creations. Using found objects I created a handle out of a cap and an open shower curtain ring.
Future bathroom requirements
- Bathroom must have a window 🆘
- Bathroom doors must open outwards or at least be able to remove the door 🛠 from the inside
- Always bring your 📱 to the bathroom
- Prototyping saved my life
- I am a master builder 💪

I lead Grace Hopper for the company and each year try to grow our support and impact for the event. I've created a process to empower women and men.
